Pianist Laszlo Gardony Performs With His Trio On Wednesday, April 2, At 8:30 P.M. At Ryles

Acclaimed Boston pianist/composer Laszlo Gardony performs original compositions and arrangements of standards from his upcoming CD Ever Before Ever After (Sunnyside) - recorded live at WGBH radio - on Wednesday April 2nd at Ryles Jazz Club, 212 Hampshire Street, Cambridge, MA. Gardony will be performing with fellow Berklee College of Music faculty John Lockwood (bass) and Yoron Israel (drums), both featured on the CD to be released on May 13, 2003.

Pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony has been recognized worldwide for his extraordinary musicianship. He has released five albums as a leader, has toured in 22 countries, won numerous awards and appeared on television and radio programs throughout the world. Dave Brubeck calls him “a great pianist". JazzTimes has called Laszlo “one of contemporary music's original voices". While his music firmly rooted in the jazz and gospel tradition, it introduces new avenues of artistic expression.
