Jazz pianist and St. Louis native Peter Martin has released a new CD of solo piano music entitled Set of Five. The EP-length release includes five tracks: “Dr. Jazz", “I Can't Help It", “Intimate Dance", “Basin Street Blues" and “Viva La Vida".
Set of Five is available as either an MP3 download or CD directly from Martin's online store, and should be on iTunes in the near future. He continues to work as pianist and musical director with singer Dianne Reeves, and recently performed with her and the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Martin will be playing in St. Louis on Wednesday, June 3, headlining a free concert to open this summer's Whitaker Music Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
