Orchard Grabs Gold for Pitbull's "Krazy"

Nielsen Soundscan has officially certified gold the single “Krazy" by Pitbull featuring Lil Jon. As of January digital sales for the single exceeded 500,000 units. Pitbull was originally signed to TVT Records and his contract was acquired by The Orchard along with the label in bankruptcy proceedings in 2008.

Released on September 30 of last year, The Orchard mixed aggressive digital marketing with more traditional video and radio promotion. “The success of 'Krazy' demonstrates that new models, partners and approaches that mainstream, commercially successful artists can work," said Greg Scholl, President and Chief Executive of The Orchard.
