"Music & Conversations" Featuring Alan Broadbent in Los Angeles, Saturday, December 8, 2007, 7:30 PM

Who/What: Performers of international stature in an intimate setting. Enjoy a glass of wine, hors d’oeuvres, conversations with the musicians, and a view of city lights. This is the first evening in our third concert season for 2007-8.

Performers: Our world-class performers include violinist Ida Levin, violist Evan Wilson (former Principal Viola, LA Philharmonic), and cellist Antonio Lysy (Terra di Siena Chamber Music Festival in Tuscany, Italy), plus Music & Conversations' superb Delores Stevens (piano). Two-time Grammy Award-winner, Alan Broadbent will complete the evening with the great bassist Putter Smith in virtuoso jazz improvisations.

Music: Johannes Brahms, Sonata No. 1 for violin and piano; Richard Strauss, Piano Quartet; and Alan Broadbent, jazz improvisations.

When: Saturday, December 8, 2007, 7:30 PM (arrive for wine & hors d’oeuvres). Music begins promptly at 8 PM.

Where: Mt. Washington, Los Angeles, the custom performance space of Alan Goldman. We will email directions when RSVPs are received. Please email RSVPs from the website below.

Cost: $35 ($20 students) includes wine and hors d'oeuvres. RSVP required, as space is limited.
