The 7-piece Mingus Dynasty, the original Mingus legacy band, has rejoined the family of the Mingus Big Band & The Charles Mingus Orchestra in bringing the great legacy of Mingus composition to audiences around the world.
Recent Mingus Dynasty members have included: Craig Handy, Wayne Escoffery, Seamus Blake, Jaleel Shaw, Alex Foster, Ku-umba Frank Lacy, Conrad Herwig, Luis Bonilla, Alex Sipiagin, Ryan Kisor, Boris Kozlov, John Benitez, Kenny Drew Jr., George Colligan, Johnathan Blake, Donald Edwards, and others.
