Please join www.bluelake.org this Thursday evening at 10 p.m. (same time as New York) for Live From Blue Lake featuring the Michigan State University jazz faculty led by alto saxophonist Wess “Warmdaddy" Anderson and featuring bassist Rodney Whitaker and drummer Max Colley III. The trio will perform live from our studios over WBLV FM 90.3, WBLU FM 88.9, Grand Rapids, and stream live over the web from www.bluelake.org. This is the first in a series of 5 live radio performances designed to highlight Michigan-based musicians. The program is underwritten by Mack Avenue Records, the road to great music, www.mackavenue.com. The series is supported by The Holland Area Arts Council and is a project of the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs.
