Leeds College of Music (UK) is continuing to further its Personal and Professional Development strand this summer with a range of short courses, weekend workshops and summer schools.
Confirmed courses include a Weekend Singers course in June under the direction of Peter Knapp, a unique opportunity to enjoy a short, intensive period of the very best training in the disciplines of Opera and Musical Theatre singing.
In July, Dr Matthew Warnock is running a one-day Summer Rhythm and Groove workshop for all instrumentalists keen to develop their playing using rhythmic styles from around the world, as well as how to bring a stronger focus to their rhythmic development in the practice room. Funk Grooves, Samba and Salsa Rhythms, Rhythmic Modulation, Rhythmic Transposition and Rhythmic Improvisation will be at the course’s heart.
