This will be Carolina's second appearance at Ryle's Jazz Club with her band Vida Vibrante. Carolina is a dynamic, up and coming vocalist that has been taking the local mainstream latin Jazz scene by storm. She has been described as having “one of the most enticing new voices in contemporary Latin jazz." Her stylish interpretations of Latin jazz standards, soulful ballads combined with her warm sound and her energetic band make this a show not to be missed!
About the band:
Matt Boland [guitar], Nicolas Villamizar [piano], Aristides Rivas [cello], Ignacio Long [bass], Yuriana Sobrino [percussion] a group of Latin and Jazz musicians from Berklee school of music and New England Conservatory of Music, inspired by the vibrant sounds and colors of South America to exchange jazz and Latin music. They enhance their sound and musical arrangements with their incredible rhythm playing. They gain the listeners attention to the pleasing forms of Latin jazz and mellow guitar notes with a soothing suite of Bossa Nova and Jazz standards in Spanish, Portuguese, English and Italian.
