Larry Goldings launches Organ Night at Vitello's on Monday December 14, 2009.
Vitello's Jazz & Supper Club will be launching a regular Organ Night Monday December 14, 2009 from 8-11p.m. with a late night Hang menu continuing to 12a. Local and visiting musicians, fans and aficionados like hanging at Vitello's these days. Especially for Organ night with Larry Golding's Hammond Organ now on long-term loan to Vitello's. “I am crazy about the new jazz room at Vitello's - and I couldn't think of a better place to indefinitely loan my Hammond organ. My hope is that Vitello's will host a regular organ night, which could really light a soulful spark onto the LA jazz. I foresee some late night grooving in Studio City." says Larry Goldings. Vitello's will have guest hosts leading the organ nights when Larry is unavailable. The Organ nights will be on Mondays alternating with some Big Band nights and special concerts.Pianist/composer Bill Cunliffe will lead Organ Night on Monday January 11, 2010 followed by other guest hosts in Larry Golding's absence.
