JIMS 2008: July 14th - 19th

JIMS is the most progressive summer workshop for Jazz and Improvisation in Europe - beyond Jazz standards.

Focus is on improvisation, composition, new sounds, avantgarde, “playing what you hear".

Courses are for:
Jazz theorie (Peter Herbert)
piano (Huw Warren)
guitar (Wolfgang Muthspiel)
violin and viola (Mark Feldman)
cello (Frances-Marie Uitti)
bass (Mark Dresser)
drums (Jim Black)
sax (Ellery Eskelin)
voice (Phil Minton) and
composition (Olga Neuwirth)

Jam Sessions every day.
