Jazz Near You Brings Back Its Popular CSV Event Upload Feature
Jazz Near You has restored one of its most popular event submission tools: CSV bulk event upload (aka using a spreadsheet).
The newly rebuilt feature allows musicians, venues, festivals, presenters, publicists and other event providers to upload multiple events to the Jazz Near You calendar at once using a CSV file—making it considerably easier to manage busy concert schedules without entering each event individually.
The CSV upload feature was available on Jazz Near You for years and proved especially useful to organizations managing large numbers of events. The original script, written in Perl, eventually became outdated and was retired. The feature has now been completely rebuilt in PHP, thoroughly tested and returned to service.
For event providers, the benefit is simple: more shows, less data entry.
