Jazz in Rockport Concert Series, Rockport, MA, April 26th, 27th, and 28th

Jazz in Rockport launches their 2007 concert series with the performance of two dynamic woman artist this Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28. The series will feature the performance of one of Scandinavia's premier jazz vocalist and composer Katrine Madsen on Friday, April 27. Saturday's concert and weekend headliner feature the return engagement of Trombonist Sarah Morrow on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Sarah's last stateside visit was at the 2007 Newport Jazz Festival where she received rave reviews and was also recently featured on NPR's JazzSet Radio program.

On Thursday, April 26th, Cape Ann music students are invited to a work shop and question and answer session with the artist between the hours of 9:30 and 11:30 AM at the Rockport Art Association.

All concerts are held at the Rockport Art Association located at 12 Main Street in downtown Rockport. Tickets may be purchased at the Rockport Art Association, Toad Hall Book Store, Rockport Chamber of Commerce, and The Book Store in downtown Gloucester.
