Jazz at The Street Theatre, Canberra ACT, 14-23 September

As part of Stopera's Australian premiere season of the jazz opera thriller, Nigredo Hotel, The Street Theatre together with Stopera and the As You Like It Cafe and Bar presents the Nigredo Hotel Jazz Lounge - Canberra' hottest jazz musicians “Live at the Lounge" after every Stopera show.

The new look foyer of The Street Theatre is transformed into the very retro Nigredo Hotel Jazz Lounge with live music happening from 9pm Thur 14 to Sat 16 September, also Sunday afternoon 17 Sept from 4.30pm, and then Wed 20 through to Sat 23 Sept from 9pm.

The line-up of jazz musicians features the John Mackey Trio, Wayne Kelly Quartet, Carl Morgan Trio, Gareth Hill Trio, pianist Michael Azzopardi with vocalist Sophie Leslie, the Aron Lyon Trio, and the Madeline 4. Entry to the Nigredo Hotel Jazz Lounge is included in the ticket price for every Stopera show - book those tickets through The Street Theatre on 02 6247 1223, or there's entry to the Jazz Lounge only available for just $6 at the door.
