David Baker, a Grammy Award winning audio engineer and producer of over 2,000 recordings, died peacefully in his sleep on July 14, 2004. He was 58 and lived in Manhattan. Born David Howard Baker on October 12, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, NY, he was the son of the late Harry Alexander Baker and the late Viola Tenore Baker.
