A look at what your contributions made possible in 2025
Since 2018, reader and community contributions have helped fund ongoing development and infrastructure work across All About Jazz and Jazz Near You. These efforts focus on improving editorial tools, supporting musicians and venues, strengthening performance, and making both platforms easier and more rewarding to use.Below is a snapshot of what your support helped us accomplish in 2025.
Throughout the year, we introduced major improvements for musicians, staff, and readers, including new onboarding and staff management tools, enhanced calendar and coverage request systems, faster page performance, expanded editorial capabilities, and new ways to surface and organize content. We also launched our mobile apps, celebrated All About Jazz’s 30th anniversary, expanded international collaboration, and continued refining the newsletter experience.
Behind the scenes, your contributions supported infrastructure upgrades—ranging from CSS and JavaScript optimization to icon system upgrades, link tracking, and ad platform migration—ensuring the sites remain stable, fast, and sustainable as usage grows.
Just as importantly, 2025 saw meaningful investments in editorial workflow, including new submission tools, improved admin systems, tracking and reporting scripts, and features that give our staff better insight into what readers are engaging with most.
