Jazz Arts Group Awarded $10,000 from Coldwell Banker King Thompson for American Jazz Experience

The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) has been awarded $10,000 by Coldwell Banker King Thompson to help subsidize the presentation and promotion of jazz through the Jazz Academy's American Jazz Experience in-school assembly program. Developed and presented by Columbus Jazz Orchestra trombonist Jim Masters, the American Jazz Experience quintet features some of Columbus' finest jazz artists in an interactive program featuring several styles of jazz; including spirituals, ragtime, blues and bebop.
