HERBERT PLAYS JAZZ AT CLEOPATRA’S NEEDLE, MARIE’S

Jazz tenor sax man Todd Herbert is marking his seventh year at Cleopatra’s Needle with several late spring and summer dates. Herbert and his quartet will be playing jazz standards for the audiences.

Jazz greats Von Freeman and Willie Pickens have praised Herbert’s style. Herbert toured internationally with Freddy Hubbard and has played with Willie Pickens, Jimmy Cobb and Tom Harrell.



Friday, May 27, 8 p.m.-midnight, Cleopatra’s Needle, 2485 Broadway, 212-769-6969.

Saturday, June 18, 8 p.m.-midnight, Cleopatra’s Needle

Friday, July 22, 8 p.m.-midnight, Cleopatra’s Needle.

There is no cover charge at Cleopatra’s Needle.
