Harmonica Music in the Pocono Mountains

After 15 years in the Garden State Harmonica Club (NJ) I moved to the Pocono Mountains of PA. No matter how hard I tried to convince my New Jersey people to come with me, none of them did.

As a result, I have had to organize my own club here. The POCONO MOUNTAIN HARMONICA CLUB has had its first meeting.

A wonderful collection of players, wannabes, listners showed up and exhibited much enthusiasm. My personal preference is the chromatic and bass harmonica. My musical preference is for Jazz and ballads. Perhaps in an other, earlier era I would have been a balladeer. The Club will, of course, explore and play all types of harmonicas as the membership chooses.

We invite all interested persons to join us at the next meeting. Monday July 16, 2007. VFW Post 3448, 440 Sterling Rd, (Rte 196) Tobyhanna PA. The meetings will be on the 3rd Monday of each month.

Harmonica lessons will be free to members.
All are invited and will be welcomed as guests and future members.
