Groundbreaking Vocalist Cassandra Wilson Announces Fall Thunderbird Tour

In April, Blue Note Records released thunderbird, the groundbreaking new CD from Grammy-winning vocalist Cassandra Wilson, which found Wilson collaborating with a new production team of T-Bone Burnett and Keefus Ciancia, and creating what The Los Angeles Times called “a whole new world of earthy, textured sound."

In a 4-star review, USA Today called Wilson's smoky voice “a treasure," and People magazine affirmed that thunderbird “finds a singular stylist still flying high."

Next month, Wilson will take thunderbird on the road for the first time, stopping in five East Coast cities with her brand new sound and a brand new band. See dates below:
