After two years on the road including a 10-city tour in the US opening for Maceo Parker and concerts from Istanbul to Mumbai, Grand Pianoramax again teams up with underground hiphop heroes Mike Ladd, Black Cracker and for the first time electronic/tabla player Karsh Kale for a brand new album due out this fall on ObliqSound.

Partly recorded in Mumbai, mixed in Berlin and mastered in Bristol, Smooth Danger is a global album of many influences that could be described as phuture funk, spoken pop and electro jazz.

In a musical landscape dominated by categories, Grand Pianoramax continues its quest for new musical territories and shred any static notion of what jazz, hiphop, electroacoustic and world music is supposed to be.
