About Spoken Migration
Spoken Migration is the first EP from New York quartet Memory Field, led by trombonist/composer Dan Lehner. The online release features 5 songs (plus a sixth bonus track, a sequel/reprise culled from a large ensemble performance of one of the tracks) written over the course of c. 2 years, indicated by the diverse range of styles, all written by Lehner except for the 'Stablemates' half of 'Tablamata/Stablemates', composed by Benny Golson.
