The Uptown Lounge at Minton's Playhouse will return to serving food at selected performances beginning in July.

The first dinner performance takes place on Sunday, July 12. Pianist Paul “Spazzy" Winston brings his trio--featuring bassist Michael Logan and drummer George Gray--to perform a tribute to some of the greatest artists who have played at Minton's, including Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Bud Powell, and many more.

Sets begin at 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with a 10:30 p.m. jam session. A $20 ticket buys admission to the performance as well as a plate of soul food.
