GRAMMY Award winner and multi-platinum selling jazz artist Diana Krall is set to return to the road in support of her latest release - “From This Moment On" (Verve).
Released in the fall of 2006, 'Moment' debuted at #7 on The Billboard 200 Chart, and spent 9 consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard's Top Jazz Chart. Though Krall is known to “summon heartbreak with the best of them" (USA Today) this “sunnier than usual" (Entertainment Weekly) set is said to be her “finest hour" (Billboard).
Having taken some time off with husband Elvis Costello to celebrate the birth of their twin boys, Krall returns to the stage for her recently announced 38-date US Tour, to perform material from her extensive career, as well as selections from 'Moment', her first new studio album of standards in five years.
Trumpeter Chris Botti will co-headline many of the shows with Diana, bringing with him his charismatic jazz style, and thoughtful improvisations. In addition, as on the album, Krall will be joined by The Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra June 14 - 17 in Las Vegas at the renowned Hilton Hotel, and August 17 & 18 at the Hollywood Bowl.
