Chris Burnett Quartet National Public Radio Performance and Interview

Kansas City USA -- 'Asr Records artist, Chris Burnett just finished taping a performance and interview for NPR affiliate, Kansas Public Radio FM, 91.5 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence today. The Chris Burnett Quartet performance will air on Saturday, December 18 at 2:00 pm during the popular KPR program, “The Jazz Scene". Along with Burnett on alto saxophone, the other members of the group were Roger Wilder on piano, Craig Aiken on double bass, and David Basse on drums. They will be heard over the air performing Burnett's creative modern jazz quartet arrangement of the holiday favorite, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". This broadcast will feature many other Kansas City area jazz artists too!

Listeners in the region may tune in on their radio at 91.5 FM, while others may listen to the program via stream online at the KPR website using the link at the end of this release. Featuring the best in new and vintage jazz, The Jazz Scene also showcases interviews and performances by upcoming local artists as well as international jazz stars coming through the KPR listening area.
