Sunday Night Blues
Acoustic blues fills Bullfinchs contemporary space Sunday nights from 5:30 until 8:30pm. Duo Dan and Nat Bongiorno, better known as Deja Bluez, perform a variety of acoustic blues arrangements ranging from bluesy guitar, bass and vocals, with music from the 1950s to the new millennium. In talking about their music, the duo says, it doesn't matter if you're young or old, let's get together and let the good times roll." Guests can sip on soulful cocktails while indulging in Bullfinchs full dinner menu of offerings.
Monday Evening Jazz
Every Monday evening beginning at 6:00pm, Bullfinchs restaurant is transformed into a relaxing haven for patrons looking to unwind after a busy weekend and begin their week refreshed. Featuring the easy-listening sounds and rhythms of pianist, singer and jazz musician Paul Broadnax, along with bassist Peter Kontrimas, Bullfinchs serves up a menu of classically inspired, American cuisine, while the jazz accompaniment fills the restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere.
Paul Broadnax has appeared with many nationally recognized jazz performers throughout his sixty year career, including such notables as Clark Terry, Joe Williams, Milt Hinton and Dorothy Donegan, Alan Dawson, Lionel Hampton, Cab Calloway, Jimmy Witherspoon, Diane Carrol, Donna Byrne and New England's own Rebecca Parris. Twice nominated for the Boston Music Awards Jazz Singer of the Year and chosen as Musician of the Year by the Boston Musicians' Association, Paul has also produced several cds.
