Brian Mulholland Releases New CD, Touring w/Ferguson in September

Independent artist and electric bassist, Brian Mulholland, has released his first full-length CD entitled Deco on the McKinley Records label.



Mulholland, originally from Anderson, South Carolina, will be bassist for jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson and Big Bop Nouveau for their fall national tour. The tour will begin on September 23 in Stillwater, OK, at the Seretean Center.



A graduate of the University of North Texas (M.M., 2005), Mulholland was the Jazz Bass and Jazz Theory Teaching Fellow in 2004, teaching undergraduate and graduate jazz bass lessons. He also performed with Lynn Seaton and Jeff Eckels (Whatdyaknow) as part of the Lower Convergence Trio at the 2005 International Society of Bassists Conference in Kalamazoo, MI.
