Founded by renowned “Jazz Dentist" Dr. Peter Silver, Blue Nitrous is a 17 piece big band that has been playing together for over ten years. This weekly rehearsal bands gives some of the finest professional musicians in the metropolitan area a rare chance to read new music and improvise with their peers. As more folks began dropping by the rehearsals, it became clear that live performances were in order. This past year, Blue Nitrous teamed up with Ms. Stacey Brass, a talented vocalist and Broadway veteran, to perform at Sweet Rhythm, site of the legendary Greenwich Village jazz club, Sweet Basil. Stacey can be seen and heard on numerous Television and Radio commercials, and has appeared on stages all over the world in Plays, Musicals and as a featured concert soloist.
