Blank Slate Festival Set For August 8th in Indianapolis

Blank Slate: art in the moment, is a festival new to Indianapolis which celebrates the art of improvisation. A full slate of musicians and bands are on the bill, as are visual artists who will be engaged in a fluid improvised dialogue with the musicians on stage.

Blank Slate will be held on Saturday, August 8th at EarthHouse Collective.

EarthHouse is a cafe and performance space located at 237 N. East St. downtown. The venue is beautiful-- a restored Methodist church with two grand pianos and a pipe organ. There will also be organic food items, teas, and coffees for sale during the festival.

The festival will run from 4 in the afternoon to 11 in the evening. General admission is $10, which covers the full slate of acts. Student and senior admission is $7.
