
The Dutch Jazz & World Meeting team is proud to announce the following keynotes speakers: Ben Ratliff, jazz and pop critic for the New York Times and Dr Lucy Durán, radio producer at BBC3, Lecturer at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and music producer.
Ben Ratliff will give a preview of his forthcoming book ‘Twenty Ways to Listen (to Music)’. Dr Lucy Durán will share light on how she integrates her broad background for projects with artists like Toumani Diabaté and Bassekou Kouyaté.
Conference
Besides being a showcase festival, the 2012 Dutch Jazz & World Meeting is also a conference, with keynote speakers, panel discussions and a trade fair where Dutch impresarios, bookers, and acts will present themselves.

The first registration deadline for DJWM 2012 is approaching, so book early and save! To attend the DJWM as a conference delegate you need to be registered. A full registration grants access to both the conference and the festival program.
