Bandzoogle, the popular website platform for musicians, today announced that it has acquired the assets of NoteWay Media, a niche competitor that also provides a self-serve website platform for musicians, performers and entertainers. Details of the acquisition were not released.

NoteWay hosted websites are being moved to Bandzoogle's servers over the next few weeks and NoteWay users will enjoy a free trial before deciding on one of Bandzoogle's subscription plans.

“We are excited to work with NoteWay and provide a new home for their customers' web presence" said David Dufresne, Bandzoogle's CEO. “NoteWay has built an interesting footprint in the jazz and classical genres, markets that we have been working hard to better serve, so this is a welcome strategic merge".

“We are very proud to have our customer base join the Bandzoogle family.  Our users will now have access to the impressive website platform and world class support team that Bandzoogle offers" said Jamie Long, NoteWay's founder.
