Bandwidth Conference Next Week in SF

Next week kicks off the fifth Bandwidth Music | Technology Conference, one of the more interesting gatherings of music, digital music, and media professionals. This year's conference explores how people discover, purchase and interact with new music.

On August 27 and 28 in San Francisco, Bandwidth 2009 includes keynotes from Livia Tortella from Atlantic Records; Ian Rogers of Topspin; Charles Caldas from of Merlin; Jeff Price of TuneCore and new addition Josh Rosenfeld how head Seattle indie label Barsuk..

Some examples of the unique perspectives that Bandwidth offers include:
  • “Hindsight is 20/20", early digital music execs commenting on the present state of the industry based on their early experiences
  • Music startups in the current climate will be examined in the “Steel Balls" panel,
  • the future will get “The Crystal Ball" treatment.
