Yul Anderson
Anderson is furthermore inspired by improvisers like Jimi Hendrix and Keith Jarrett, the impressionism of Debussy, Ravel and Bach. John Malkovich enjoyed the music so much that he made a personal call to Yul Anderson and asked permission to use his live solo piano version of "All Along The Watchtower" as the main soundtrack in his debut directorial film "The Dancer Upstairs", starring Oscar Winner Javier Bardem.
"My meaning is to perform the ultimate piano experience expressed through sounds that carry the listener on a musical journey to a place where they have never been before", Anderson says as he ponders his musical vision.
