Tommaso Gambini

Since moving to New York in 2015, Gambini has distinguished himself as one of the leading voices of his generation. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has performed internationally both as a sideman and as leader of his group with such musicians as drummer Antonio Sanchez, saxophonists George Garzone, Miguel Zenon and Ben Van Gelder and Italian prodigy Francesco Cafiso.

Born and raised in Torino, Italy, Gambini fell in love with music at a young age while listening to the Beatles and started playing guitar under the influence of his father. While in high school, he entered the Jazz program at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory.
