With a career spanning decades, Cooper has carved out a reputation as a musician who can seamlessly move between jazz, gospel, R&B, and funk—bringing authenticity and heart to every note he plays.

This 10-track collection showcases Cooper's signature blend of jazz, funk, and soul, highlighting his masterful guitar work and innovative compositions.

Strum Funky features collaborations with notable artists, including violinist Jerald Daemyon, saxophonist Kevin Levi, flautist Deblon Jackson, and guitarist Eddy Senay, among others. Tracks like "The Weekend," "Say What," and "Hot Thang" exemplify the album's dynamic range, from smooth grooves to high-energy funk.
