Reuben Radding
His current projects include his trio with vibraphonist Matt Moran, and clarinetist Oscar Noriega, duo projects with pianist Ursel Schlicht, saxophonist Jack Wright, and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Carter, a trio with Wright and hyperpianist Denman Maroney, and an improvised chamber trio with Bay Area violist Tara Flandreau and North Carolina oboe/English horn player Carrie Shull.
Reuben Radding has also performed or recorded with John Zorn, Marc Ribot, Elliott Sharp, Stuart Dempster, Robert Dick, Saadet Turkoz, Wally Shoup, Wolfgang Fuchs, John Oswald, Dylan VanDerSchyff, Dave Douglas, John Hollenbeck, Ned Rothenberg, Scott Rosenberg, Anthony Coleman, Nate Wooley, Butch Morris, Jane Rigler, Wade Matthews, Lukas Ligeti, and many others.
In 2005 Reuben Radding started the Pine Ear Music record label to make his own recordings available. Distributed by North Country, Pine Ear's first release is the CD "Intersections," with Matt Moran on vibraphone, and Oscar Noriega on clarinet. Coming soon is Pine Ear's second release, "Fugitive Pieces," featuring Radding in a quartet setting with Matt Bauder on reeds, Nate Wooley on trumpet, and Andrew Drury on percussion.
