Mona Matbou Riahi
Performer-Composer-Improviser Since 1990, Tehran, Iran Mona is currently based in Vienna and studied at Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (MDW). Her profound interest for contemporary music and free improvisation integrated with Iranian music elements that brought her on stage in different artistic projects including dance, theater, multi-media art and so on. She had the pleasure to play with outstanding soloists, ensembles, composers, performers, and friends. Her latest music album, Naqsh due, is in process of publishing with ECM records.
