The Naqsh Duo gave their first concert in Copenhagen at The 4th new Copenhagen Guitar Festival. Naqsh Duo (Golfam Khayam, g & Mona Matbou Riahi, cl.) played here their composition Narrante wish they have recorded on ECM and has received fine reviews in international music magazines. Narrante is a breathtaking composition which takes the listeners on a beautiful musical journey to the often forgotten Persian and Kurdish improvisational traditions. In what is becoming more and more harried every day - we need to calm down - and you do that when listening to Naqsh Duo. We got breathtaking music at tonight's concert and it was performed with great virtuosity and beauty.
