Moisey Shifer

Moisey Shifer was born on 15 of December 1946 in Ukraine. From 1968 to 2002 he lived and worked in Moscow, Russia. Nowadays he is a resident of Germany, Lubeck. State Musical College Named After The Gnessins Specialties: Orchestral Soloist, Conductor of amateur orchestra, a Teacher of a children musical school.

From 1979 to 1984 soloist and conductor of the Moscow State Estrada Theater.

From 1992 to 2002 soloist and second conductor of Moscow Circus of Yury Nikulin. At the same time soloist in Jazz Big-Band of Russian Border Defense Forces.

Orchestras: G.Garanian and O. Lundstrem.

Worked with such artist as National Artist Azerbajzhan Poladom Bul-Bul-Ogli who is now takes a position of Minister of Culture, National Artist of SSSR Eugenie Leonov, National Artist Leon Smetannikov and National Artist of Russia V. Tolkunova. Took part as a sideman in concerts of Steavy Wander. Played with such artists as Lew Tabakin, Benny Green.

Participated in a number of festivals in Moscow, St-Petersburg, Archangels, Lwow and in Finland.
