T.C. III appears every Sunday Night, 10:30 PM in Harlem at St. Nick's Pub for his Jazz Vocalist Workshop! Born William Theodore Carney III and known as "T.C.,III", Pronounced (TC the third)... T.C. grew up in Philadelphia Pa affectionately called "Philly". Coming from a tradition of musicianship, the tutelage of his parents, the musical institution of Trudy Pitts and "Mr. C." provided a unique training and professional environment, as well as exposure to the world of Jazz. During the last 25 years, he has developed, initiated, inspired, networked, and led several Philadelphia/New York-based Jazz bands. Some of these individuals have continued on and have achieved national, as well as, international fame. Such notables include J.D. Allen, Orrin Evans, Daryl Hall, Byron Landham, Robert Landham, Duane Eubanks and Rodney Green. Vocal expressions and interpretations allow him to perpetuate the legacy of his greatest love - JAZZ!
