Flown

The style of this trio is based on mixed sounds characterized by a strong and marked rhythmic pattern. Synthetic sounds and percussions are in perfect harmony and synergy with visionary guitars, creating a continuous movement that finds its balance in its own contrasts: bass, harmony, and melody change constantly their performers. The rhythmic structure intertwines different elements through composition and improvisation.

The pieces of this trio belong to different "ways of thinking" about jazz: from dreamy lyricism reflecting ECM influence to the more powerful groove of the NY contemporary scene with hints of beat/electro music.

As band names go, this is one with a range of possible meanings. Some searching shows that it's actually been used by a handful of different outfits ranging from punk-metal to experimental electronics.
