Erin Stroup, originally from Williamsport, PA, is an experienced saxophonist, clinician, instructor, and educator in the Philadelphia area.

Stroup earned his M.M. in Music Education from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and his B.S. in Saxophone Performance from Mansfield University.

He has studied jazz improvisation with Jimmie Amadie, Frank DiBussolo, Ben Schacter, and Denis DiBlasio, as well as composing, conducting, arranging, and literature with Dr. Quincy Hilliard.

Some notable artists that Stroup has performed with include Larry McKenna, Bob Mintzer, and James Carter.
