Bruce Arkin

Saxophonist, drummer, singer, songwriter, Bruce graduated Berklee in Boston in 1991, then moved to Brooklyn. After 5 years in New York, moved to Florida to teach. Feeling the rise of fascism, he moved to Barcelona and has been writing and playing there to an ever growing appreciation. Playing with Jorge Rossy,Kenny Wollesen, Albert Sanz, Guillermo Kline, Reid Andersen, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ethan Iverson, and others has made his stay in Spain a good one... His recording on Fresh Sound records "Wake Up!" has been met with glowing reviews by those who have heard it. (such as the list of cats above)
