Brian T Collins

Brian T Collins is a Scottish born composer, producer and music educator. Brian has scored soundtrack for Rogers Community TV newscasts, composed and recorded for Government self help videos and has had numerous television appearances on CITY TV, CTV, Channel 47, CFTO, TLN and Much Music.
He has performed in countless clubs, concert halls and arenas in North America as well as Great Britain, Mexico and has played for such corporate clients as IBM, AT&T, Nortel, IBM, Indian Motorcycle, Remax, Mercedes Benz, Entro Communications, Bombardier, Rogers television, Royal York dental, National Yacht Club, SQL POWER and much more.
Brian began his musical career in 1980 and is well versed in all styles. He has a reputation of being a great innovator of both instruments. Brian was active on the Canadian music scene between 1986 to 2009 where he performed and recorded for many artists and bands. Brian was also recognized for his work over the years promoting Concert Pitch A=432Hz. His campaign to promote 432Hz as an alternate to 440Hz concert pitch for music therapy has gained him global recognition since 1991.
With his experience as a musician and composer, Brian offers professional music services as a media content producer, A1 audio engineer, educator and film & video producer.

Brian has performed with noted artists like Ted Quinlan (Jazz guitarist) Lisa Martinelli (Jazz Vocalist) Michael Hanson (Glass Tiger) the Late Great Kenny Maclean (Platinum Blonde) Oran Demir (Turk Guitar legend) Curtis Lee (blues guitarist) Blues recording artist Harry Muria, Mitchell V & the World (corporate big band) Brian has also performed in the Atlantis production of Grease and has opened on stages for Recording artists The Watchmen, The Tea Party, Sloan and Lowest of the low. He has also performed aboard the Princess cruise lines ship “Island Princess” as jazz solo pianist in Alaska 2007.
Brian has an honour standing from Humber College music program and is no stranger to consulting and management positions.
He was the lesson school manager of Elite Music Academy in 2008-2009, taught at Kaos Music in Etobicoke and has taught students privately for over a decade teaching many aspects of improvisation, composition, sound recording and production.
