Brian Cashwell

Brian Cashwell is a pianist/organist living in Manhattan. He moved there from Cincinnati in September 2004. Since moving to New York, he has toured with the Boys Choir of Harlem, played for ballet classes at The School of American Ballet, and is the organist at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Chelsea. In Cincinnati, he was a doctoral student in classical performance at The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He also worked as a freelance jazz musician, church organist, accompanist for the Cincinnati Ballet, and played many touring Broadway productions including "The Producers", "Hairspray", "Phantom of the Opera", and "Beauty and the Beast". About four or five years ago, he decided to dedicate my musical pursuits fully to jazz, and hasn't looked back. Check out his first CD, "Pure Imagination"; now on sale at CDbaby.com.
