All About Jazz's longstanding mission is to help you discover artists and their music. We also encourage you to participate on the website whenever possible (e.g. entering contests, answering survey questions, posting comments, sharing a jazz story, etc.). This past week we created a way for you to add your jazz theme song and playlist to your member page. Here are mine. You can add yours—just sign in, click "Hi, Your Name," click "Update Settings," click the "Theme Song" tab, then enter your YouTube (theme song) and Spotify (playlist) link and save. We'll keep an eye on the submissions and if we get enough, we'll start featuring them.

This week, we'd like to ask you to identify your favorite jazz genres and create a personal jazz venue map. To update your member settings, sign in, click "Hi, Your Name," click "Update Settings" then follow the instructions below.

Set Your Preferred Genres

You can determine what appears on your My Articles page and My Album Reviews page by selecting your favorite genres. Click the "Preferred Genres" tab from your member settings form, check the boxes that apply and save.

Identify Venues Near You

You can identify venues and festivals that are near you by selecting them from the "Local Venues/Festivals" section on your member settings form.

Your Venue & Festival Map

Once you've selected local venues and festivals you can view them on a map at the bottom of your member page. Clicking a pin drop opens a window displaying the venue's information. Clicking the venue or festival name under the map takes you to the corresponding listing page at Jazz Near You where you can view their events.
