In spite of some dreadful racial stereoptypes (which were all too common in films in 1937), Calloway and his orchestra shine in 4 musical numbers: "I've Got A Right To Sing The Blues", "The Hi-De-Ho Miracle Man", "Frisco Flo", "Some Of These Days"
