About the Album
This song is the title song of my debut album "Unlikely Scenario". The album was recorded last year in Amsterdam and is being released on April 8th 2022 under the German label JazzSick. I wrote this song with the intention of seeing beauty in the unexpected situations that might seem odd at first. Finding myself sitting at home during a pandemic was very much an unlikely scenario for me, but I tried to make the best out of it and as a result I used the time to write a lot of new music and record my debut album. While composing and recording I wanted to leave enough space to allow the unanticipated to happen, because I believe that often the best things in music and in life happen when we don't plan them and stay open towards the unlikely.
