About the Album
This is a tribute to the legendary Rudy Van Gelder to whom we all owe so much. This original composition is in a style reminescnet of the early 60's Blue Note sound and features Grammy winning Jonthan Saraga on trumpet and two-time Grammy nominee Mauricio Zottarelli on drums. The tune is mixed and mastered to invoke a bit of the warm tube/analog sound of the era. It is hoped that it the tune feels like one the listener might have heard but just can't place it!
