About the Album

This is the opening track of the album String Rise Azure Traces. The piece is woven round a powerful single theme which is heard, strongly, in the first section and then is played again in the third and final section. The solos section is based on the strong, insistent, harmony of the second part of the theme. This builds, powerfully, before going into a diminuendo and the return of the theme. The Coda is, again, based on an element of the theme, playing round this idea before subsiding to a gentle, calm finish. A piece with a strong, and powerful character.
