"The Sky," the closing track to Dave Liebman's latest release with his longstanding Dave Liebman Group, Turnaround: The Music of Ornette Coleman (Jazzwerkstatt, 2010). The only original track on this album of imaginative reworkings of songs by Ornette Coleman, ranging from well-known to deserving of greater attention, "The Sky" features guitarist Vic Juris, bassist Tony Marino and drummer Marko Marcinko.
